I'm happy that my Tate Exchange project went so well and that the books 1800+ participants altered--about 30 books--are now part of the Tate Britain collection. I was very inspired by a book I found in the Oxfam Charity shop in Edinburgh, Clever Girls of Our Time and How They Became Famous Women by Joseph Johnson published circa 1875. I altered the entire book by inserting the stories of women of color and it is now part of the Tate Britain collection as well.
